Me too @Dave1977 im like that too. Away from everyone. Trouble is where I live the tourists come down fir about 6 weeks. Just csnt get away from crowds. I tend to stsy home a lot.

@Jumpingcactus Yes I get anxious thinking there will be nowhere to get away. But I think even 5 or 10 minutes taking a walk might help. What will you do to find "me" space

Going to an event like that with a bunch of strangers is way out of my comfort zone - even though my job is highly social (disability work).
It provokes anxiety.
I had much resistance to the idea of celebrating with a bunch of strangers who I will never meet again.
But yes, at least I'm not alone then on that day - & It feels like something special.
