I agree @Appleblossom - part of keeping special things special is reserving them for celebration times.  This was a more everyday version.

But still nice enough for a Sunday @Faith-and-Hope Tbh I have never made an orange sauce like that so put unsalted butter on shopping list ... and will have a go ...

Not sure how sorted things are for you....with children and divorce its never simple, but sometimes it gets simpler ....

Divorce from the narc-x is still complete 🌵, but it was always going to be.  Hoping the truth comes to the fore progressively “encouraging” him to do the right thing.

That sounds lovely @Faith-and-Hope , do you have an orange tree or just had excess fruit? My mums property had a good load of citrus trees and we would just make heaps of juice to use up the fruit, and give it to the neighbours. Plus the birds and possums got a good chunk too 😛 

I would love to have some citrus trees in the future.

And @Appleblossom sounds great to be trying out new recipes, my inspiration comes and goes. I wonder if we have a recipe/ cooking thread on the forums somewhere?
