Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in
Yesterday I did my volunteering
Today I went for a 5km walk
did the dishes
went out and bought a new fridge - this is a big goal for me to have achieved, I've been putting it off for 6 months but I finally got so desperate I had to take aciton! It get's installed next week and I'm really looking forward to it.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in
Well done @BryanaCamp you're kicking goals today!
I am having a day off work but it's never restful
Have been to the Vet, took kid to Specialist, Physio and soon haircut.
Then have to pick the other kid up. I'm a bit fed up. And tired. And broke!
My goal for myself is to get an early night. Not very exciting.
I think I need to plan some things to look forward to as my mood has gone really flat.
Hi @Shaz51 @Teej @MDT and all passing by. Hope today is ok for you.

I feel good about this even if I don't get them. It's progress. My weekly total is now 8

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in
Well done @frog and @MDT ! great work 🙂
frog, you sounds so busy, I can't imagine having kids, I find it hard at times just looking after the cat & myself.
Hamsolo well done on your job applications, 8 is so impressive! I've been writing a few too lately after 7 years of unemployment back haven't heard back yet, just have to keep trying. Are we going to lose you to the UK 😞
Yesterday I took a 4km walk, did the dishes, load of washing & went out to lunch with some new friends & had a lovely time.
My goal today is to attend a social gathering & remain calm, to avoid any arguments - my psychotic symptoms have been playing up so it;s made me very irritable & argumentative,
Good luck everyone with your goals today.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in
Hi @BryanaCamp yesterday sounds like a good one for you. I understand the effort of staying calm at social gatherings. I don't like big events, lots of people. I'm better at small gatherings of people I already know. I get anxious otherwise. And family stuff - oh my - can be stressful. Hope all goes well for you today.
I can't believe the day is half gone. On my to do list:
- Clean bathroom
- Do ironing
- Do assignment
None of which is much fun, though I am watching a Netflix doco when I have ironing.
- On my wish list
- Reading a book
- Early night
- Do some sketches for a zine idea.
How are you going @Shaz51 @Teej ?
Agree with BryanaCamp you're going really well with the job applications @MDT It is hard work so kudos to you sticking with it and getting so many in.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in
hi gang, sending good vibes to @Shaz51 , @Teej , @frog , @MDT , @eudemonism
well done on your big list frog, hope you got an early night.
today I did a short work out, went for a 5km walk (even with a tiny bit of jogging!), did the grocery shopping, did a load of washing, making a curry that will keep me going for a while.
My social gathering went well, I wasn't argumentative or irritable and I didn't feel like people were crossing my boundaries which is good.
My goal is to have an early night and try not to munch out on sugar at night.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in
Good effort @BryanaCamp Well done on the social event, and today's activities. Making a batch of curry is a good idea!
I got my essentials done yesterday but the early didn't happen due to sick kid.
Trying again for that tonight.
Before then I need to
- sort some stuff out from first day back at school
- cook dinner - pasta tonight
- sweep the floor
Have a good evening all.
