NDIS Application
I finally had my appointment with NDIS to make my application today. I have to drop off another report from my medical practice but the Local Area Coordinator is confident that I will be approved, its just going to take a while to get to that point. I will be so relieved if/when its approved and I can start getting some support.

Re: NDIS Application
Hey @ClockFace
Well done on getting started on your application. The processes for NDIS application can be so exhausting, and I'm sure you've jumped through more than a few hoops in the process already. It sounds like the payoff and assistance will feel like a weight being lifted when it arrives. In the interim I suppose there could be a lot of anxiety during the waiting stage?
I hope you feel at least a small amount of peace after having made the application, and are in some way relieved at having completed that first stage. I personally want to say well done 😊
❤️With kindness,
Xibon

Re: NDIS Application
Hi @ClockFace , well done on getting your application in! NDIS can be a pain in the butt but having support is such a rewarding thing! What sort of support will you be looking for? (domestic, social?)

Re: NDIS Application
Im hoping for a mixture of both domestic and social but my physical conditions are likely to be declined and classed as health conditions and not disabilities. There is a chance at a later date that they will include my back as a disability but I need to have my specialists state that its permanant and that there are no further treatments. But I am currently going through pain medication withdrawal due to hyperalgesia and there is the potential that they might try one or two more things once Im done there.
I think most of it will be social support, hopefully some support in managing anxiety and that.
