I have a splint for grinding and wear it every night. All good once you’re used to it.
Have a good day my friend

Your presence is beautiful and powerful.
Good to see your support.
Back from dentist, have splint for grinding, which I put off from before Covid. They say it takes a week to get used to sleeping with it. Hope its worth it.

@Appleblossom Hope it helps and gives your teeth, bones and muscles in your jaw a well needed rest. Thank you for your beautiful message- you have such a kind heart. Talk to you soon.

Missing you Maggie
Hoping you are alright, and life settles again Eve7
Em and Myboy you are always floating around in lovely supportive fashion.
Oceangirl I keep losing my splint in the bed. I take it off in my sleep everynight. I dont gag on it or anything which is good ....
had been a bit anxious son had low week last week. Tonight I phoned him and he was in the pub having fun after uni. Oh such wholesome news. He used to be most dissaproving of pubs and diddled himself out of light hearted fun. Feel relieved, not worried he will over indulge. Its a positive turnaround.

We are both highly attuned to each other. He even asked me how I was, and made a future phone time. SO yes. Big Relief.
@Emelia8 Hugs Bella. Not sure excactly what you are going through, but your friendship over the years has been valued. Know that.
Hugs @outlander
I read on other thread you have a lot of physical stuff. It is not an even playing field for you in many ways.
Dont give up.

@Appleblossom It may take some time to get used to wearing it- perhaps some relaxation before bed might help. And glad your son is having some fun- that will be good for him. Talk to you soon.

I expect it will take time. I will keep putting it in at night. It cost me enough.
My stress and relaxation issues are more involved than most. I have been doing various relaxation things for body and mind for 40 uears. Yesterday my physio admitted my neck and shoulders were still tight even after she gave massage and has been massaging that area once per week for a year now. 20 years ago when I left my ex husband. I had a series of massages with a masseur who said my back and neck was like concrete. The 16 years of marriage were etremely high continual stress. Still working through it all. My middle childhood (6-9) was also high stress. I used to sleep walk back then so I am probably used to having automatic nervous system able to do whatever when I sleep.
yes I was pleased for him. Simple things.
Its good to have you around again
