Both have been to the vet this week- kira needed stitches put back in one of her incisions. 

And Milo went to have his vaccines yesterday and he may need surgery later in the year on his patella. I hope not.

I am at the sanctuary tomorrow and I will probably head off to bed soon too.

Feeling very triggered by conversations online atm.  Though not cos anyone has done the wrong thing by me.  Just too much trauma brought up my vulnerability.  Will need to take a break from forum.

People do not believe me when I say that animals get a better deal than my family, but it is true.  It is why I volunteered at the zoo for years ... to arrive at that understanding.

I suspect you are very right about some animals being treated better than some humans.  

I only wish all living things were treated kindly, respectfully, lovingly, equally and with the greatest of care.
