Re: Dark Skies

It is a hard line to navigate @Wanderer between getting D help and not letting her pull the strings. From personal experience - the sooner she is challenged and gets help with those things the better. It will not be a quick or easy road as it certainly seems like a lot of re-learning and changing very long held behaviours.

Re: Dark Skies

Yes @Wanderer It is important sometimes that mistakes and behaviour are not enabled or accepted for people to be able to actually move forward. It is great that as her father you can both see this and can get her help.

Re: Dark Skies

Happy to listen @Wanderer It can become clearer when we have the opportunity to both get it out and work through our thoughts.

You are so right - we need to have help ourselves - especially when caring for someone that has things to work through too - you are just as important 👍

Re: Dark Skies

@Wanderer  Hi Wanderer  it is a tough one getting help really has to come from the person themselves ..... one can stand by and help but if the person rejects the help offered there is only so much that can be done. Just promise me this while you are helping your daughter you are looking after your own health. That is so important. Love sweetpeaxx
