Re: Gratitude posts

I just started a gratitude journal. At first I thought it was Dicky - stupid.

I enter 5 things just before I go to sleep. I'm having great sleeps because my mind is in a positive state

Re: Gratitude posts

Well done @Former-Member for sticking it out. And for finding something that works so well for you.

Re: Gratitude posts

I'm grateful for:
The end of year soccer presentation which my son thoroughly enjoyed.
The sun shining today.
My bed and being able to get some sleep.
My mum for calling me, just to catch up and see how my son and I are.

Re: Gratitude posts

today I'm grateful for

1) My new oven that I cooked banana muffins for the first time in years and my sons were really happy and said it reminded them of childhood and coming home from school.

2) That I've been well enough to come back on the forum today.

3)  I've achieved some household chores that were long overdue.

4) That at least for today I have felt in control for the first time in ages

Re: Gratitude posts

Thanks @Former-Member for reminding me of this thread. I so need to eclxpress gratitude. A friend of mine keeps a "Joyful Journal" for positives.

Today I am grateful for
- my 26yo son finally going for his driving test and passing and then went out and found a great little car and starts the job of his dreams Monday. Oh yes, and he graduated uni this year - all good. He's worked so hard.

Glad I
- can still walk
- have a roof over my head
- friends
- faith
- garden
- safety
