Hi 👋🏼 @Blackcloud I was just passing and saw your post about changing your Degree.

Good for you for taking the initiative and using the support systems available to you.

Lecturer’s should never mark a paper to the detriment of the student, but for the student’s edification.

Researching my lecturer’s background and PhD thesis was an advantage, when communicating with them.

Lecturer’s get nervous too 🙃

@Glisten I came across some posts that mention about this lecturer who is very rude and when students asked/requested her for their assessments to be reassessed? (as in, for their original marks to be changed) the lecturer herself responded to them rudely saying what grounds they have to stand on the reassessment, and she was/is just overall a very blunt person. Lucky I haven’t had her yet since this is just my very first trimester but I would definitely avoid choosing her in that case (lucky you can choose which lecturers you want because it’s online).

Sadly I think shes the unit coordinator and also one of the lecturers in the research methods unit/subject, and since research methods is a core unit in social science as well I am gonna make sure that I definitely don’t choose her as my lecturer.

Thank you for poking me with a stick, I was late out of bed as I didn't sleep well and now I feel like something the cat dragged in, and dragged back out again.

I'm doing a diamond painting and listening to the TV in an effort to keep me awake. Might be time to brew me some real coffee.

This is why we don't run out of our meds people. Especially the good, stop manic episodes give you a great night's sleep ones.

Oh Lord! I forgot I don't have a bathing suit so a sauna is out. I've only ever gone au natural but I wouldn't cause a mass eye gouging were I to do that in public.

Mothers would be screaming "look away children, lest you be turned to stone!"

Oh how I long for the days when neck to knee suits were mandatory. Or maybe I'll pretend to be Amish and wear a shapeless muu muu.

Enkeli is delirious from lack of sleep and almost used her real name again whilst rambling on to her poor dear friend who is now no doubt wanting a Bex and a good lie down!

Oh, @ENKELI and @Glisten your banter makes me laugh. 😆 never stop, please.

I recently bought a swim shirt which has proper shoulder coverage! Not just thin bands that give side boobs. (Can I say that here?) And I wear boardshorts to the knees. I dont feel comfortable with skin-tight swimmers.

I leave space for Glisten in the sauna by not using them. (I don't like the heat!) Im not sure if could ever feel comfortable being 'au natural' in one either. I know its "normal" in a lot of cultures. And I know logically I shouldn't care if people judge me on my physical body appearance. But I guess I also just dont trust strangers also not to be inappropriate??
