Wow that was quite a list of tags you did there.

I just put my car in for Smash Repairs this morning. It will be in until late Tuesday afternoon (at least).

Fortunately I have collected a hire car, so I can still get to work, & yoga class, & my appointments...

Yes we had to hire a ute for work for a week when the injectors blew on the higway @Adge

Yes @Determined, up here we think it is strange for other parts of the state floods with only 50mm but to get like 600 mm in a few days here and when it stops raining , the water goes away quickly which is good

Wow @Shaz51 Flash flooding is such a huge phenomena in our so generally dry land. Enjoy it while it lasts.

It takes a while to appreciate the quirks and idiosyncracies of the countryside. Generations really. I attached to the land before I could attach to the people, but finally I am able to do that thanks to the forum and few friends irl. Thanks guyz. So often people who arrive here do not see the realities and nostalgia and yearning for home is huge.  

Maybe once I work out who I am, from whom and where I grew. I will feel settled.
