On another post to @DownMoreThanUp
Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing that with me. Please know you are not alone on this road, even when it feels isolating.
What you said about Peter Levine’s work and taking "small bites out of hurts" is so powerful. That is exactly what it is—titration. It’s about digesting the pain rather than getting stuck in that exhausting cycle of suppressing it until we explode, or oscillating between different states of being without understanding why.
It’s like - bringing those divided parts of ourselves together into a unified whole rather than fighting against them—take time and patience. You aren't a superman, you are a human being who has done the work to find internal peace.
I hear you on how lonely it can be when loved ones still run away or don't quite know how to meet you where you are now. Sometimes, our healing changes the dynamic, and it takes time for the outside world to catch up to our inside world. But you are living in harmony with yourself now instead of animosity, and that is a massive victory.
Keep taking those gentle bites. I’m right here walking this path with you.
Warmly,
PeppyPatti
