I think for me it comes from being young and watching buff boys flex their muscles and show off their legs in their Stubbies.

My Ray-Bans aren't sunnies, they are my eye glasses. My grandfather found a pair of Ray-Ban sunnies on the bus one time and handed them to me. He told me to disinfect them first, who knows who owned them? I didn't have the heart to tell him otherwise.
Oh my goodness! Frogskins! My cousin wore them. I tried them on and didn't like them, but because they were "designer label" I thought they were very flash. I have fond memories of anything to do with that particular cousin. He was the same age as me and a pilot but died in a car accident when we were 28. He was my favourite cousin. He was a larrikin, did a brown-eye on Wanneroo Rd, as well as at the back of a bus so I'm told. I was there for the Wanneroo Rd display. He fell in love with Heath Ledgers' cousin and married her 6 weeks later. So yes, I was kind of related to Heath for a time.

Meanwhile I was wearing the equivalent of Cancer Council sun glasses! Maybe a pair of Bali-Bans 😉

Glad you have insurance for the Crapples - you need it! 🤣 Meanwhile I have never bothered with insurance for my Sammy Sung. Lol, Samsung V Apple is like Budgies V Dockers. Except I am loyal to the Good Ones. heh heh heh.

Yes I did create Enkelis' Page. Back in December when I was having a break. Do you think I should delete or resurrect it? Perhaps given my recent completion of records management I should archive it and create an audit trail stating exactly why it was archived...wonder if I'd get extra points?

Have you been sleeping all day? (I still want to be unkind to K about him saying that...but I am not allowed to say what exactly I want to do. It involves GAFFA tape and Deep Heat)

Ha ha @ENKELI . I had a Medican family stay in my unit for nearly 6 months. The youngest boy didn’t speak any English then so we only spoke Spanish at home and I have been to Mexico 12 times.

My credit union still hasn’t cleared my pension that’s two pays in a row. Getting annoyed @SmilingGecko .

I know @GezzaP I'd be annoyed about that if i were you. I sometimes have that problem with my disability trust being several days late. I was thinking about that new tax for trusts when I saw it in the budget. Mine is a discretionary trust but is specifically classed a disability trust. Wondered if I would be granted an exemption. I have to pay tax on the trust anyway every year. The government is looking at new ways to raise revenue. I hope you get paid though. It makes it hard when you are hanging out for a payment. Some days I just hover around my online banking just to see if my payment comes through. Its hard. Idk GezzaP. You'd hope it would come through quicker. I hope they can squeeze it in before the end of the day.

I hope your trust is not affected too

much by the budget.

I’m annoyed that they propose to take away the rebate for private health cover for 65 year olds. That will be a very unpopular decision I think. It’s already very expensive with the rebate.

@GezzaP one of my former MLC friends had a Mexican Research Officer and we did a Mexican fundraiser. His wife did the cooking and his family who were over on holiday made us drinks and all manner of delicious things.
I was meant to go to Mexico when I was in San Diego but I chickened out as the original booking was supposed to have a tour guide and they changed it where you caught a bus, they dropped you off and then picked you up several hours later. Not knowing Spanish I was too scared to go on my own.

Mind you, most of the staff at the hotel I was staying at in San Diego were Mexican, I could have asked them for some useful phrases!
