@Jynx that "psychadelic swamp" in north florida.. may have just been mentally added to my to-see list now! I know someone who lives in northern florida, so the region is already on my "when I go to the USA..." list. Although not sure that I'll be going there anytime soon, with their current border-security-even-for-tourists situation. 😑 Very pretty sight though - amazing to think it is natural.

As far as Christmas shopping goes, I've only bought something for my five-year-old friend. She's the granddaughter of my ex next door neighbour, who passed a couple of years ago of MD. We'd been neighbours for over 25 years, and I've known my friend since she was born.

Our coastal town balloons in the holidays, and I hate food shopping at our small shop. It gets overloaded with people! I have to psyche myself up and put my 'blinkers' on before I get out of the car. 😉💛

@MissGremlin buy yourself a journal and some gold stars. Write down some weekly goals and daily tasks to achieve those goals. Give yourself a gold star every time you complete a goal. There is no reason adults can't have gold stars too. Goal journals are an eye sparkle of mine; it can make a huge difference to mental health.
