Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear Friends,

Pooh is a bit late as usual.

Has an unfortunate news

of neighbour down the street

whose house caught on fire.

An unattended candle

fell off in the middle of the night

while all are asleep.

A small fire soon becomes big.

No power, no phone signal

it's been for weeks.

The storm uprooted the tall trees

and take away basic utility needs.

No battery to call emergency,

no signal to reach.

When they finally arrived,

the house was badly burning.

Pooh is making some space.

Pooh is tidying up personal mess.

So they can squeeze in

our tiny tiny tiny cosy place.

Thankfully there's the insurance company

who pretty much covers everything.

All safe now,

Everyone's relieved.

Pooh may miss out a bit,

but will definitely join in the story.

Hopefully next week,

Pooh be back with the team.

Take care dear Friends!

Never ever ever leave fire unattended.

Your Pooh Bear,

Always

Smiley Happy

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Oh, Pooh! You are a hero, taking the poor fire victims into your tiny house. I am also in the storm affected area. I feel sad for your neighbour who has lost their house to fire 😞

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear Friends,

Kanga pulled from her basket stuff to help Christopher Robin's sore throat, as well as medicine for Horrace the sick bat. (Welcome, @Adge !) She had made a cosy nest of blankets in the corner of the cave for the sickies. Owl had delivered Roo's letter and Tigger's card to Aloysius, and as a result Aloysius was feeling cheered up, and was hanging from the roof above the group of friends (as it was daytime and he was comfortably dozing on and off). Horrace wasn't asleep as his body clock was all upended due to his tonsillitis. Instead he was snuggled up with Christopher Robin, watching the friends and listening in to their conversation.

From Kanga

Dear Aloysius,
What a beautiful name! Thank you for everything you do, you work hard all night and it
connects so many of us. You are an essential worker, essential to all of us! I am so glad
to hear that you will be passing on your vital knowledge to tiny Horace. I think you
deserve a special title - Master Post Bat, as you have indeed mastered many important
skills. If ever you want to just stop and have a cup of tea, sweetened with honey, I
cordially invite you to come visit with Pooh Bear & friends {a most welcoming bunch!}
Genuinely gratefully yours,
Little Bee 🙂

Dear friends,

@NatureLover @Exoplanet @Oaktree @Adge @Lilaca @Shaz51 @Emelia8 @Appleblossom @Ripples

I shall be back later to follow on with our adventures.

Lovely to have Aloysius with our band of friends @Adge

Also there is no pressure to continue to write on here if you have lost interest,  perhaps circumstances do not allow, do not feel up to it.

There will be no judgement.

Tigger will continue to write her story and will love to have some of her band of friends along with her, if they so decide.

Write soon

need to get outside while sun out.

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear Friends,

Eeyore wanted cuddles too so laid down next to Christopher Robin and Horrace. She was careful not to squash anyone. It was nice and warm all snuggled peacefully on the picnic blanket. Eeyore found that snuggles was a good way to not feel so gloomy.

All my love,

 Eeyore

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Hello Master Aloysius, Master Bat @Adge

Phew quite a title. You might also have letters after your name.

A special bird; a  relative of yours, told me that you are a specialist, degrees in horticulture I believe.

A qualified greenkeeper.

I do hope that you won't be come bored with our merry troupe. We all have very different personalities which is what makes it so very special.

We love adventures and often can be seen as the sun is setting, walking off in the horizon, to never neverland.

As far as Creative Writing skills, I was not aware that this was a requirement as I would certainly not be included.😁

Have any other friends any qualifications in Creative Writing?😉

In fact writing what drops into your mind is far more interesting reading than something measured as a skill.🤪

This is our way of communicating and as we are such a variety of species, we must remember to include everyone no matter what their breed.

Hence fun is a must. 🥳

Silliness is a trait belonging to Tigger.😸

Eeyore being more sensible and grounded ? Hmm  possibly more grounded. Slightly stubborn. Needing a bit of a push at times as he does come from the species donkey.

You could perhaps write to Eeyore @Adge offering your thoughts and support. Let him know how you felt as a character in the real story.

Our story is not quite real, more along the lines of make it up as you go.

Your friend Tigger

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@Sophia1

Dear Friends,

Our dear poor Tigger is confused again. Nevermind Eeyore doesn't mind helping Tigger to get unmuddled. Tigger is so busy bouncing it's a wonder anything stays put in his mind. Our dear friend @Adge is young Horrace the apprentice post bat with the bad tonsillitis. Tigger mustn't feel bad as it's easy to be mistaken with so many friends to keep track of.

All my love,

 Eeyore

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear Friend @Shaz51

So sorry to hear that Horace is still feeling out of sorts with his tonsilitis.

Bless you Christopher Robin for snuggling up with him, the best medicine in the world.

I agree about feeling lucky having so many friends, it does give you a lovely warm feeling inside.

I always say to people when they thank me for supporting them in someway, being their friend;

to have a good friend, you need to be a good friend yourself.

You have that in bucket loads @Shaz51
