Re: Morning has broken

Very nervous @tyme

Re: Morning has broken

I'm sure you are @Eve7 . My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I know it's a hard time at the moment with your son's 2 year anniversary.

You are so brave.

We are standing with you and cheering you on.

Re: Morning has broken

Hi @tyme

It won’t let me email so something has worked.

Re: Morning has broken

Is the trip for comp or just a break @Eve7

Sounds a bit exciting!

Re: Morning has broken

Thank you @tyme 🙏💕

I'm doing okay thank you.

The broken wrist is slowly recovering.

I am now in a removable rigid brace, which makes life considerably easier. So much better than the plaster cast.

Able to remove it for showers (bliss) and am now able to drive again, so have my independence back. Thanks for thinking of me 😊

Re: Morning has broken

Holiday @tyme skipping uni this semester and giving the squad a break.

I think this will be my last long haul flight.

Re: Morning has broken

Thinking of you @Eve7 ! Are you going alone? It sounds soooooo exiciting! I'm thinking of you.

@Emelia8 , good to hear from you. It feels like a while since I heard from you. I'm glad to hear you have somewhat some more independence now that the plaster cast is off. Have you had any more issues about not feeling pain?

Re: Morning has broken

Lucky me @tyme I still have no pain from the wrist 😊 Nobody seems to know why, and doesn't seem overly concerned.

I do still have considerable bruising up the arm and some nerve type pain around the elbow. But it seems to be slowly resolving.

I have spoken to my physiotherapist who runs the Pilates class I usually attend on Fridays. She thinks I am ready to start back on a modified program from next week. Plus I will start doing some wrist and hand rehab the following week. So I'm happy to be back doing normal stuff. Other than our regular walks of course, which I have managed to keep up all along. Hannah needs that, as do I of course. To prevent post surgery blood clots etc, I ditched the surgical stockings with the promise of regular walks 😂

Re: Morning has broken

Sounds great @Emelia8  that  you can start back at pilates. A bit of 'normality' really helps. YOu sure did a good job your wrist! Can't believe you even needed surgery.

Do you need rehab after?
