Good morning everyone. @Bunniekins @Former-Member @Snowie @outlander @Anastasia @WIP @Bow @Eve7 @Anastasia @Peri @Clawde @Sophia1 @NatureLover @Owlunar @BlueBay and others I may have missed.
Thanks @Anastasia ... a yummy devonshire tea on my deck at 10am. Looking good I must say. See you here at 10am, along with anyone else who would like to come.
Still no word from the vet, so I just rang them now. The results have come in only this morning, but the vet hasnt seem them yet according to the receptionist. So he will call me some time this afternoon about them.
Hubby is seeing some improvement with the medication changes, so he is feeling a bit more positive about that.
I have a busy day today. Need to make an apt with my GP, because I have to get a referral for my oncologist apt early next month. They rang and reminded me I needed one.
Also we have the son of one of hubbys good Navy friends staying with us tonight. He is from WA, but doing a year long travelling trip in a caravan with his 8yo daughter and 5yo son. He is estranged from his partner, the kids mum. They are due to arrive around lunch time. So I have to get to the shops today to stock up on kid friendly food. As far as I know its only one night, but with covid situation further north, that may change.
My Dad is doing pretty well after his operation on Tuesday. His wounds are not too sore so he says. I'm trying to fit in a vist with him and my brother in 2 weeks time. Trying to squeeze in a few days in between both my and hubbys appointments is quite a task. But I think I can do it. Hoping covid doesnt intervene this time.
I'm mostly okay I guess, but just very fatigued overall. Jaded and mentally and physically very tired, if that makes more sense. Just not feeling like doing much at all. And still disturbed by the fact that I'm still sore all the time from surgery and radiation. Its almost 5 months since surgery now, I should be better than I am. I see my psychologist next Wednesday, so I will no doubt talk to her about it too.
Thanks everyone for your continued support, and my apologies for being so unresponsive of late. I am reading but dont seem to have the energy to respond very much.
Emelia 💞🤗🙏

A year long trip oh sounds like heaven, although he's brave with two littlies. How lovely of you to mind them Em. What did you cook for dinner?
I'm not long home so grabbed a roast pork from Coles and rolls and we had that. Was actually really good.
You must be pooped!
So good your Dad is doing well. I sooooo hope you can visit him in a couple of weeks, I'll cross everything @Emelia8 xox

I'm sorry, I neglected to say I am sorry to hear you are still sore from radiation 😔
It's pretty huge what you went through hun So I would imagine it takes time. But certainly not nice to have to put up with. I wish for it to P"$$ off far far away forever. Talking to your pdoc will be good. Sending you healing hugs and love my sweet eloquent sister 💞🤗💖💞
