Hi @Bunniekins @Zoe7 @Appleblossom @Adge @outlander @Faith-and-Hope @Exoplanet @CheerBear @Shaz51 @Teej hope today is going well for you all so far. Cold night here last night too - the coldest yet this year I think. Very cool but sunny now - lovely.
So all of yesterday's chores remain undone! Spent hours researching and reading works by the woman taking the Writing Trauma workshop I'm doing this Friday. Looking forward to it even more now. Meera Atkinson, whose recent work is called Traumata. So far I've only seen exerpts but it seems really on point and talks quite a bit about how memory is affected by compound trauma - one of my big challenges. Also focuses on transgenerational transmission of trauma so might be of interest to some here. Please tag anyone you know might be interested.

Also spent a couple of hours going thru' all my writing and choosing a couple of pieces to maybe read at the writers centre open mike reading session on Tuesday night. Really hard to see most of it as engaging for others when so much of it is cathartic memoir and very personal. Also saw a lot of it has a lot of potential to be re-written and isn't something I'd present in its current form. Works in progress and not enough time between now and then to do it.
Going soon to do my over-due bridge homework and possibly have a practice with sil's mum this afternoon. I missed the last class so it's been 2 weeks since I looked at it.
Have a good one everyone xx

@eth Hi eth you haven't told us how your butt is?

Hey @Bunniekins most of it feels a lot better but there's a couple of spots both sides that feel like burst blisters. The almond oil seems to be working well but hoping those areas don't get infected. Less of a laughing matter now!
How was your walk and cafe hit this morning?

The Writing Trauma workshop sounds very interesting @eth Let us know how it all goes - will be very interested to see how it is presented and what you cover.
Your bottom issues are not that funny know that they are blistering - certainly hope there is no infection Hon. Hope it begins to heal really quickly.
@Bunniekins How was the trip to the cafe with your daughter?

@eth I am so glad that it appears to be healing. Just please keep an eye on it. My walks were fantastic. So cold I loved it 🙂 Invigorating for the pea. Just the way I like it. The colder the better:). Even when we were walking back from the cafe it was only 14 degrees!!! So it must have gotten really cold overnight yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
