My first tattoo
I yearned for a tattoo
And in London I was at
I went to a tattoo parlor
in Ravenscourt Park
I picked out a design
And there I excitedly sat
I got it tattooed on my right shoulder
A Celtic crescent moon
It didn’t take very long to do
And I had it very soon
The buzzing sound of the tattoo gun
was hypnotizing
And There was a little bit of pain
To me it felt like getting gravel rash
But I sat and put up with it
For I knew that beauty I would gain
I admit I felt slightly hot
And a little sick
But to help with the discomfort
And to cool down
Off my shoes I did kick
I did enjoy the experience
Of getting my first tattoo
But I kept it quiet
And for a long time no one knew
Being Celtic is part of ancestry
For I have a Scottish part
I cherish my Celtic tattoo
And I hold it close to my heart

Hi @Wennie
Cool post!!
I have many tattoos. Just got another one about 3 weeks ago.
I like the feel of getting a tattoo. I don't know why.
However, I hate getting needles!

Hi Snowie
I have 8 tattoos and the biggest one I have is a color part sleeve on my right thigh and it took 9 hours to do. I had it done in one sitting and believe me I was so sore afterwards but I really enjoyed getting it done.
I also like the feeling of getting a tattoo and I find that getting inked really feeds ones soul with satisfaction.
Take care
Cheers
