Re: rough time

Hey there @outlander, sorry it's afternoon before I got here though. Seems like I've not done much, but when I look around, I have done a bit of time consuming stuff here.

It's ups and downs at the moment for you, hey. I support your suggestion to see if you can find a PRN med, I have one I can't take too often because of the side effects, but it's the best of a bad bunch and it helps me manage and prevent the panic attacks. Also, I break it into pieces, which is allowed, and they say what I'm taking isn't even a therapeutic dose, but it works for me.

My smoothie powder isn't very tasty at all though, sadly. It is very filling, so that is good and it's easier to drink something than to eat right now, so I ordered more as it's not going to be stocked at my chemist any more. I get it cheaper though because of that. Yay.

Hope you're having a bit more of a relaxed afternoon now, maybe get the sibs to do something nice for you? Not sure how old or how capable etc, or what would bring you solace, hopefully the evening brings quiet for you. Heart

Re: rough time

afternoon @Former-Member you dont need to apologise at all Heart

i dont see my gp for another week or so yet but am hoping to bring it up again with her. its rather upsetting that things change so quickly. i was going relatively ok until about 12ish when tha routine of panic-depressed-panic come back again but at least only one panic attack atm. im trying to catch them all early now before it leads to anything else but these ones seem sudden and cant predict when they happen- they jsut pop up.

oh yeh you cant take sustagen can you- im glad youve found something for now and ordered more in. it seems we jsut find something then they go out of stock or stop making it doesnt it!  are you feeling abit better since you got the abx?

im at home now (with just me and pop) sibs and mum lvie in a separate house. its kinda quiet and im trying to get my bed remade but having trouble doing it. even the though of making it seems to be giving me anxiety atm so trying to do it in smaller pieces. ive got the mattress protector on, the pillow cases done. the sheets the next thing then quilt cover then put it all together.

Re: rough time

@outlander it sounds like you're managing very well, hon. I know there are days when I have to do each step at a time too, you're getting it done.

I have decided I am going to make some pretty linens, or more accurately, make another pretty pillow case and put some decorative crochet on it. The last pillowcase I made I really love using, (use, wash, put back on -it's gonna wear out fast I think) I sewed some Broderie Anglaise onto one end for decoration. A bit like this one.

download.jpgHaving a pretty thing to cuddle up to makes me feel better about sleeping I've found.

And no, the sustagen used to be perfect for me, used it heaps, now they have added stuff that makes me very ill, go figure. Don't know what would happen if I had to be tube fed in hospital for any reason, it would go very bad indeed. It happens to me all the time, I find a nice soup or something that I dont' have to make myself, and then it's either gone or they change the ingredients. sigh. I hate these allergies, but I have had to learn to live with them, but it's such an effort!

The abx have almost fixed the infection, but they make me feel like the walking dead, that's for sure. Have to go back to gp next week, and I think they'll have to give me something else or more of the same because it's not gone yet. Still there's a few of them left to take, so maybe it will be enough. I'm not holding out much hope for it though.

I hope you get some relaxation tonight sweetie. Heart

I'm going to go do some jigsaw or something distracting now I think. Have gotten washign off the line, folded and ready to put it away, so that's sorted before nightfall. Have to go to mailbox yet too.

Hey @Former-Member @outlander @Bella1978 @Former-Member

I dropped out of responding earlier today sorry about that.
But by the sounds of it you are all going into the right direction. Just stay the course and you are getting there which is all that matters.

Re: rough time

im trying my best @Former-Member step by step is al most of us can do hey.

thats a loveley pattern, i actualyl had a pillow case similar to that or rather my nan had one. i think ive still got it floating around somewhere- it was white but more cream now after so much aging.

you poor thing- do you mind if i ask what your allergy is?

im glad the abx are working though i do udnerstand they can make us feel really yukky even though they are destroying all the bad bugs. it sounds like a whopper of an infection. feeling for you and sending gentle hugs Heart
