Re: rough time

Re: rough time

yep for sure @Appleblossom the next gp appt she said will talk more on my stomach situation. she wants to get my hand sorted first and was a rather long session discussing meds as well. the drs ive seen havent done anything- thats more the trouble. they keep throwing tablets at me to take but not finding the cause. i still get heartburn on a bland diet. ive gotten rid of so much stuf i wonder if there much left to adjust.

we are discussing allergies next and will see if any of those are the cause- thought id meantion it today after Sunshower tole me about some of hers. had me thinking

Re: rough time

Guess you have to take it a step at a time. @outlander But it makes a difference if your doctor actually listens rather than just scribble scripts.

Personally I have rarely taken over the counter treatments and prefer to go with a dietary approach if possible.

You have a lot going on. How is your hand.  Is the bruising settling? You have not wrenched any ligaments?

Re: rough time

for sure it does @Appleblossom im not a fan of constant meds either and have tried to make all changes i can think of but its not helping so im glad gp listened this time. its been happening since feb this year so its been a while- i thought it was a virus to start with tbh.

ahh yes sorry gp and my hand @Bella1978@Former-Member@Appleblossom@Snowie@Sans911

shes sent me for xrays again as the gp i seen originally only got my one finger xrayed rather than my hand and wrist  and she ordered elbow as well. so shes reorderd those, she thinks ive got a possible hairline fracture in there somewhere. the reports get back to her by the end of the week and she said if its broken she will call me but if its not i can wait till the 2 weeks (when my next appt is ) and she will reassess and send me off to a hand specialist for further treatment as well as possibly some ultrasouns as well. . she is suspecting (if not broken) then ive badly bruised the bone due to the hard hits i had (slammed it on a metal pole as well as having my hand wrapped in roped and being jerked around) possibly some ligament/tendon damage and also she has said ive got nerve pain so i need to monitor that as well.

its still rather bruised, very tender and sore even sitting around. i can at least move my fingers now still with difficulty though but abit more than what i could 3 weeks ago.

she also has doubled my meds so i take a higher dose at night and a secondary high dose of a morning to help try and get my moods to stabilise more as well.  monitor stomach issues then furher tests at the next appt.

uh i think thats all

Re: rough time

@outlander

hey sweets, far out, would be good if they could let you know whats actually happenned with your hand. it sounds like it is getting better, but very slowly by the sounds of it hey? i hope you continue to notice some more improvement luv. is it the gp that overlooks your mood stabilisers?

hey, i just finished sticking all of the glass onto the candle holder i was working on last night. i leave the glue to set fully for a few days and then it is ready to grout. yay me lol

how you doing chooken?

Re: rough time

when the xrays come back itll give a better idea as well @Bella1978 if i dont hear from her/reception by the end of the week at least it means its not broken and its more the soft tissue stuff- which actually heals slower than bone! im starting to think a broken bone and the spilt for a few weeks is better than all the hand therapy they will get me to go. she told me not to do any of thos though in case its broken, dont need it gettin any worse!

my gp will monitor as well as myself and i see my psychiatrist in a few weeks as well for an update.

yay- update pic on the craft thread please!?

im ok wrote abit to Shaz on an earlier predicament which our welcome to read if you like but atm im  just chilling here, happy helping others out tonight Heart i read your post on your thread, as im not  a carer for MI  but have experience in that area if you want a perspecitive from someone whos experienced that firsthand themselves..
