@Adge I've planted bottlebrush and gravillia to attract birds to my garden. I've only been here for a year so they are small atm. And only becoming acquainted with the locals.

My partner and I moved 2 weeks ago, and yesterday I saw a couple of galahs on the nature strip of the place next door. Where we used to live, we saw a lot of galahs and cockatoos.

My favourite bird of all time is the eclectus parrot - they are just so beautiful! If I could have one sitting on my finger or my shoulder for a while, it would make me so happy.

They are delightful @Former-Member and @Maggie utterly beautiful. A bit like rainbows, one cannot but smile when one sees a rainbow in all it's glory. 

Thank you all for sharing. @Shaz51 lucky to have such delightful visitors. @Adge we had a blue budgerigar when we were quite young, friendly little thing. 

No birds here to get photos of though. Have a lovely tomorrow.

Hi @Maggie, magnificent sure describes the pelican. They amaze me, how can they fly with that huge nose lol

I saw a beautiful bird at my aunts funeral

isn't  it amazing blue.  Anyone know what it is?

@Former-Member Aren't they gorgeous!! I love the colouring of them, especially the females.

No new bird sightings lately, although we do get a few doves around here, which one of my cats love to watch - I think he'd chase them if he could! We have heard a kookaburra here, but I'm not sure where he was.

I haven't seen that bird before! It is beautiful though.

@WideWhale320, didn't know male and female pelicans look looked different,  must ggl that one 🙂

With larger birds,  i find white swans angelic water birds 🐦
