Re: Christian Chat

@REDLINEZ750

I appreciate you trying to problem solve, but I don't need a problem solver right now, I need a friend.

Re: Christian Chat

Hey @ENKELI @DownMoreThanUp, I’m not sure if I’m picking up some tension here or you’re both super passionate about this… The nature of online communication means there is no social or verbal cues and conversation can become heated when there is disagreement. Debating different views it totally okay, but it's important that conversation remains respectful and within community guidelines. If it’s all okay – don’t mind me, but if things are becoming heated and support is needed, please do not hesitate to email us or check out our resources of conflict and self-care here:

Re: Christian Chat

@ShadowMod no tension here, just advising that I felt triggered by comments made.

Thanks for checking,  for me it's bygones.

Re: Christian Chat

@ShadowMod Sorry i cannot use the support button. Yes i did feel things got out of hand a little, at least for me, i was not very comfortable with the tone and direction of the conversation. No hard feelings towards @ENKELI, i understand her to be dear sister in Christ, also struggling with her emotions like me. But i do get lots of emotional upheaval considering how the powers to be set us up against one another, making us think badly about each other, and get us to use name calling, when we do nothing wrong.

Been struggling with things having to be like this all night raging in my heart against that Beast ruling us down here.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp I don't recall any name calling. Please advise what I called you. If I did call you a name it needs to be addressed.

Re: Christian Chat

@REDLINEZ750 I love me a bit of techno, thanks for sharing!

Re: Christian Chat

it came up as a sugestion on my you tube music app @ENKELI  i listened make sure it was gospel and surprised it was thought i know where to share this 😁

its a genre how cools that!

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI  All good. To put things straight from my perspective, it is not nice when people define you a Sunday Christian when you defend your opinion using Scripture, for that are the truths you try to live by, or a backyard dog breeder when you want to breed the dogs you love. Especially considering that as a society we have been breeding dogs for thousands of years but suddenly i'm the bad guy wanting to do so.

What upsets me so much about this is that i know the many big organisations, behind these laws they are implementing, are simply bought up. Some publicly approving terrible meat growing practises. While people like us love our animals, give them an excellent life to live. We look after them with utmost care from cradle to our table making sure their life is good in the mean time. It is this that makes me so mad!

For those two labels for example have been invented to define people like me in a negative way by our contemporary society surely you can see that?

We have a really nice community going here, and i have really appreciated getting to know you, as well as all the others. i do not want to let my personal life stuff this up, attacking one another about it. i realise again how careful i have to be to openly share my life with others, for such can bite me in the bum, nice people becoming not nice.

Lets call it quits and recover a bond of unity instead of disunity. For love covers over a multitude of wrongs yes? i think His grace ruling us is important on this thread.

Peace.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp I am sorry that your feelings were hurt. I didn't specifically call you anything other than a backyard breeder, which unless you are registered, you are.

I was triggered by you bringing up a verse to support your beliefs which I mentioned previously as this has been done to me before. Unfortunately I lived with a person for 8 years who used to use scripture as an excuse to make me feel bad. She was not the only one. So for you to bring up scripture to support your desire to breed your dogs was a trigger to me.

It has taken me 3 years to get over the trauma and destruction caused by my former friend. Seeing that scripture sent me back 3 years ago when I was first devastated by ex friend.

I wanted you to see my point as to why I have my beliefs, I went too far. If everyone were like you and bred your animals responsibly we wouldn't need the laws.

As the saying goes, the squeakiest gate gets the most attention so the "bad" breeders are the ones that make laws necessary. My cat Mal is proof that backyard breeding can be a terrible thing. He was lucky, he was rescued as a kitten. Other animals are not so lucky.

I still believe that all animals must be sterilised unless you are a breeder, that will never change. Just like I supported the end of tail docking. I don't understand why you would want your dog to have its tail removed unless it was necessary for the dogs' health.

I did wonder why you brought up innocent people being incarcerated, however. That really had nothing to do with dog breeding.

We need laws, otherwise society disintegrates.

We are bound first by God's laws. Where would we be without them?

Again, sorry if your feelings were hurt. I will not apologise for being a strong and vocal advocate for animals however. You are lucky you haven't experienced animal abuse like I have. Like anything awful, it can have a negative effect on a person.

May you have a blessed weekend.
