@ENKELI The main reason for me is the experience of rearing puppies and Rottweilers are my favourite breed. Zeus is from a linage that has 'blue blood' among Rottweilers.😁 For Zeus' grand grand father was a champion looker and model Rottweiler, so his whole linage is expensive as.
Although we got Zeus for a much more decent price, his puppies should still bring us a good return for sharing his looks alone. For although to a lesser degree of importance, it would still be nice to get some of the cost we put into sustaining our dogs returned this way.
This why we were also hoping to replace any dogs that pass away from old age, sickness or snakebites/accident as we go along. Shadow is basically 10 years old already. and although we really hope she will last till 14-16 years of age, our experience with bigger dogs is that most do not live longer than 10-12 years of age.
