How is everyone here?
All survived unscathed?
My visitors have gone
Just me & furball now
Slept most the day away
Made a yummy lamb leg roast for our lunch yesterday. And Apple pie & custard feast. Went well, but had to make it happen myself. Was good distraction from the life losses that haunt at these times - it works, and blesses someone else. However, I can so relate to those of you who hybernate, take cover 'till it's all over. That's usually my thing. But either way...

Survived it here too @Former-Member and actually enjoyed most of the day - but good that it is over for another year as well.

Hey @Shaz51@Zoe7@aficionado@cats_pajamas@Dimity@Former-Member
I'm really sorry to hear some didn't do too well yesterday. My thoughts go out to you...
Shaz; you asked what comedy's I like a couple of pages back. It depends on my mood. I do enjoy one with a moral ending. You know, the 'feel-good' ones that make you smile on the inside as well as outside.
Comedians like Will Ferral (snicker) hit the spot when anxiety hits. Even Charley Chaplan doesn't go astray at those times.
It wouldn't have mattered today anyway; I fell into a deep sleep on the lounge.
@Zoe7 - congrat's hun. Responding to people in need today is commendable and well deserving of praise. Looking out for you too by the way...x
@TAB - absolutely; washing can wait while you 'get rid of' (he he) leftovers like pudding. I'm all for a day of rest, recouperation and silliness. 37 at 9am!!!! Where are you? Hades? ha ha What was it at 2pm?
@aficionado - crying knocks the top off hun. It makes room for better feelings and deeper sleep. I'm glad you had a decent day though. You were in my thoughts last night wondering how you'd coped. Hope to see you at the NYE party...
That goes for everyone else too!
Hang in there Sane'rs; it's nearly over.
Love Hope xo

I'm a whoos @TAB Dry heat or not, gotta have air con. Just not built for the high temp's, though my hair and arthritis hates the humidity worse.
I went on a cruise last year and was nearly crippled due to 100% humid and rain. Bit of a shame because it would've been ideal otherwise. We were upgraded to a balcony suite. How nice to watch the waves, dolphins, sunset and shore lights at night.
