Hey everyone and good morning on our last saturday before christmas. My ex has at last shown his true colours and has preferred to spend christmas with his gf instead of his children .... children are very disappointed ... what a rat bag aye. Best for the children to know though. They wont see him for another two weeks. That will be 3 weeks without seeing their father.  I am furious.... he has been sucking up to me everyday since he told me I havent been returning his calls or messages. Nothing to say to him at all.

However disappointing my father was he always saw us at christmas.

Sorry to hear your kids and you have been let down like that @greenpea   There does come  a time when they see through a parent who's selfish (many other adjectives come to mind here).  Good on you for not responding to him.    Hopefully you and your kids will have some lovely times together while ex is not around.  His loss really.  Take care xx

As you have said to others in the past 'there are reasons why they are exes' .. @greenpea  sounds like you were in a very amicable situation for however long, maybe its time to move on. He has.

@TAB s I have moved on ages ago and happily but we are tied together because of children (no matter how old they are). He rang up today (again) asking what I want for christmas etc etc. I just said that the kids need their dad.

@Dadcaringalone  Hey Dadcaringalone I cannot find your original thread so decided to use this one to say hi, see how you are going and wish you a merry christmas :). Been an interesting year for me. Son2 is doing well and actualy came out with a complex conversation yesterday which nearly knocked my socks off :o!  One just never knows with him. Daughter is doing quite well (could be doing better)but is a work in progress 🙂 like a masterpiece it takes time.

I have big plans for next year. I plan to try and study again. It will be hard with my damaged mind but I am going to give it a go just have no idea on what to study .... can you help me there :)..

What are your plans for Christmas? we are having a small one.Look  forward to hearing from you. Your friend peaxx
