Re: Christmas Loungeroom

join the club re xmas alone @Schitzo  guess its the norm for me these days only other option was driving interstate and risking everything if get stuck there for an awkward time w family and prob arguments etc lol guess alone not so bad

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Thank you @MDT, how is your day going? Mine is very quiet. I am thinking about doing housework to stop myself from thinking about things. I got a job 3 weeks ago and I'm scared I'm gonna lose it because I'm not good enough. I'm on antipsychotic medication and they have made me mentally slow and it's affecting my work. I'm expecting my boss to ring me and tell me I'm firedπŸ˜”

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

You are right @TAB, I guess it's not so bad. We have our forum family close by, so we are not alone😊xx

Peace and quiet, hounds relaxing on the sofa with me after they enjoyed a fresh roo bone for breakfast.

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Hey @Schitzo
3 weeks is a while for the meds to get used to. I remember I was on the same type and it can take getting used to.

Distraction is a good idea though. Maybe turn off tv and social media and just be your own human. I did that this morning. Its much better I think. You don't get caught up in thought bubbles. I take in the info I need and then that's all.

For example I listened to the coronavirus update for 5 mins and that was all I needed. Nothing more.

Housework would be a good way to tune out i reckon
