Good morning @Appleblossom

A strange collection of pictures you have presented. Strange but good 🙂

Those bushwalking stories are sad.

You didn't attribute the first picture...?

Re: Good Morning!

Wish i could @StuF I got a series of irises from artstack and then the artstack website closed.   So I do not remember the name now. I def did not do them. I loved them and posted them a lot in my early forum days.  Somehow reclaiming my visual side, heritage and love of beauty ... its a "conservative side of me.

Re: Good Morning!

I had wondered if you might have been the artist @Appleblossom

Beautiful regardless. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Re: Good Morning!

I just wanted something to show respect that someone had actually died @StuF but then worried I would bring the mood down ... its hard ... to find the right balance.

Re: Good Morning!

Well, for what it's worth, I think you did a fine job striking a balance @Appleblossom

Re: Good Morning!

@StuF  Hey StuF! wishing you a pea ceful afternoon 🙂

Re: Good Morning!

@Appleblossom  Hiya Apple 🙂 hope you are having a great day love peax

Re: Good Morning!

Thanks @StuF Its difficult as doom & gloom and fear have been a bit prevalent in the news ... and concern about price of food rising .... and supply chains etc ... are all real.

My life has been about distinguishing real reasons for fear from false ones.  They called my parents schizophrenics and I finally understand the ramifications of both the Dx and the etiology of their particular illnesses and life trajectories.  They were really different people with same label ... so I guess I got all analytical about it when I finally had the time ... and for kids ... we still have to be able to make risk assessments as a natural part of life... and pass that on as a skill.

I need to log off, but thanks both @StuF ... for a little real people contact through the screen ...
