Besides being on here, I'm getting my ears saturated in Christmas music from my housemate on her new iPhone which I'm not really enjoying and this will go on until Carols By Candlelight gets turned on the TV. Believe me when I say I would much rather curl up with an old family favourite 'Days of Thunder' than watch anything Christmas right now.

Today has been tough with my sister and housemate causing issues - yet apparently I'm the problem!- so I'm taking some time to do some self-care by knitting a baby blanket for charity and to remind myself that someone will really appreciate this gift early next year. It's like those 2 above mentioned people have gone out of their way to annoy me today and I can't do anything right. I'll be okay though. I'm strong and I believe in karma so I'll just sit back and take care of who is really important- Me! Christmas time always tends to bring out arguments for my family so today was no different. 
As for Christmas Day, it will be a quiet affair for my family with my father possibly making his usual drunken phone call to me which I will greatly answer this year as i have so much to tell him, especially in regards to my sister and her issues. Not that I'm expecting him to remember anything due to the alcohol affecting his brain. My sister is working at night and I'm hoping my housemate stays over at her family's house when they get picked up. I refuse to go to their house after last years Christmas Day disaster where things were said that I didn't agree with and refused to put up with and I spent 3 long hours sitting in my car waiting outside for their dinner to be over. Let's just say that was a brilliant way to spend Christmas night! I'm thinking a day spent with Lego and maybe a book or 2 and of course, the wonderful forumite friends I've got here!

Okay. The Christmas grinch has now decided to leave the building and settle on some soothing activities like knitting. Oh, and maybe cross stitch!

Hi @greenpea @MDT @LostAngel @Maggie @frog and all those around right now. @greenpea nice to know I'll have some company☺️💐! I've settled down after my little rant by doing some knitting and am in the process of coffee and cross stitch. I decided on Tuesday to stitch Baby Yoda, the Star Wars character. I'm not into that whole Star Wars thing by any means but there is something so cute about Baby Yoda that I just had to stitch. Suffice to say, a trip to Spotlight was needed to get some cottons (6) so I could stitch him. He's helping me get through listening to Carols By Candlelight on TV and I'm pretty sure he's my surrogate boyfriend for the holiday period😂! 

There's also a coffee one of him I want to stitch as well- see below- as it totally sums me up! 

I put the design into a pattern designer and it formulates a pattern for me to cross stitch. Anyway, that's my version of fun along with other things!

Okay! Back to Baby Yoda! Night all!
