Feeling caged up

@GezzaP sometimes even with reminders I seem to forget, maybe I need multiple reminders.

Rain can be a bit hard to predict in Australia. I think we are also expecting rain today, but more so tomorrow.

I’ve just had my morning cuppa, need to put some fish on for cooking. I’m not great but not terrible.

I walked up the shop. Checked my emails then went into the garden. Planted 3 native plants and did some pruning. Having a break now to get off my feet for a little while. It’s not raining yet. It rained overnight.

So checking my email. If I can muster the energy I’ll pour boiling water on some weeds.Will put my indoor plants out to catch some rain.

@GezzaP the rain hasn't started here in my area, I think it is happening more so later today. It sounds like it has been a productive day outside for you. Weeds can be frustrating, no matter what you do, they seem to pop up.

I did some cooking today, also have the beef mince and chicken on the stove, it's meal prep for the coming week. Once they're done, I'll freeze them and portion them.

@creative_writer I was happy to garden this morning. But now the rain is steady and we have some thunder.

i had leftover bolignese for lunch.Will have  for dinner too. Was thinking of having Chinese take away but not going out in the rain. It is very dark here too. Maybe I’ll have Chinese tomorrow night. Still have some bolognese left might make it into shepherd’s pie.

@GezzaP I believe our rain is about to stop, it was raining heavier just a while back. Will try to take a walk once it is over.

I hope you enjoy your dinner even if it is leftovers. Chinese for tomorrow night sounds delicious.

It has stopped raining here atm @creative_writer . I dozed off for an hour. Having a drink before deciding what to do about dinner:

@GezzaP it was sprinkling a little when I took a walk, but it started raining more when I came back.

Cooking is finished and I’ve frozen the mince and chicken.

i had a cheese toastie and strawberries with chocolate sauce for dinner. Not very healthy but tasty.

No more rain here atm.

Nothing wrong with giving yourself a treat every now and then.

It's dry here now, but the rain return tomorrow. Not sure if it's going to rain later tonight.
