@outlander i am really disappointed your family hasn’t been more supportive. I understand pop can’t, but your mother and sister? 

 the rehearsal is a privilege and a challenge. Beautiful music, good players, the leader is a bit pernickety. I am not sure if I should just get used to him, he has put off a few people. I am going through a theme of needing to toughen up, but musos are often sensitive.

my surgery got postponed for a few months. im dealing with some sort of disorder within my bl++d stream. they have to run some more tests to see why i am now experiencing clotting issues. so annoying.
have started some new medications and waiting to see a specialist to see what is happening. have been put on light duties indefinently till the disorder is worked out but at least my leg is healing much better and ill be able to get out of the moonboot in about 3 weeks if my next scan comes back good so im happy about that!

Sorry to hear about your current medical challenges! I can see that it can really dampen the spirit. So am I right in saying you are back to work, but on light duties?

We think of you all the time so we are so grateful to have an update.

Finding the right level of work and support is crucial. Light duties make sense.

Busy busy here. 2 choirs and committee meeting today. Somehow I have developed a steadily busy creative life, with enough wriggle room for smelling roses sometimes. It’s been tough, but I actually am finding a few friends, learning to set boundaries, and not be a complete marshmallow, be feisty and life is moving on. Seeing the problems everywhere that people have. Rowing my boat. Felt grateful for my life as I was driving home. It happened step by step. I hope your health and your life improve. 

No internet for a couple days, but back on.

just watching tv, went for a little walk today while the weather is nice. i dont go far though, cant wait for the moonboot to be off.
