People definitely have different ways of thinking, feeling, processing, imagining, etc. 🙂 quite amazing when you think that its all biological matter... I wonder what it is that makes some brains develop or operate in one way vs another. 🤔 I know sometimes there can be hereditary correlations, but not always.
I have an auditory "internal" brain, but I actually have terrible auditory processing from external stimuli at times -- my father did also. On a bad day it could take me 30sec to process what "would you like a hot chocolate?" means, to be able to respond. However I dont have this barrier with sign language (even as a second language), but I do have it with other spoken languages so it appears to be very much an auditory processing issue.
Sometimes when I have trouble with auditory processing I actually have to try to visualise the written word in my mind - that is easier than an image of a person/item/event, because its just text.
Im curious more about how your brain works (or anyone else). I always find it interesting because you don't know what you dont know :).
How has this week been for you @CarryOnPorkChop ?
