Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Sorry to hear that @Sans911

It really does hit home doesn't it. Especially when we ourselves deal with this sort of mental health stuff.

I am hoping you get well rested tonight before heading off tomorrow

Take care.

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

@Sans911sorry to hear that news hun. It doesn't seem to matter what day it is, it is a shock when we find out that news. Hoping tonight is ok and you can enjoy your time away.

Made it through the day. It started of nice and quiet with the kids being excited to open up their presents. Tonight we hosted a lot of family, which was enjoyable but also hard at the same time. With some help from H, prn's and a few time outs I made it through. Was great seeing all the cousins playing with each other and having fun. Was worth it to see the smiles on all the kids faces.

Everyone has left now, I have cleaned the house, packed everything away.

Just sitting down now with a coffee and the dog. Time for some me time and to relax.

I hope everyone had some good moments in their day Heart

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Well the others are watching Casino Royale. And I just spotted some deer before hand.

Christmas Day passes again. And I am reminded of the good in the world but also the sad and the tragedy.

There is balance in many aspects of our lives I guess.

Take care forumite.

Off to climb Mt Kosciuszko tomorrow. Will take a few pics I think

Re: Christmas Loungeroom

Yes @MDT Sounds like you really Get it (understand).

Strange how so many people in those social situations just don't seem to make efforts.

Even though they were there (supposedly) for some of the same reasons that I was there -

- No family to spend Christmas with.

- No Christmas invitations to anything.

- No $$ for a Christmas meal.

- No other Christmas Celebration (to go to) etc.

Mt Kosciusko, that's great (your hike).

I love that area - I have not been there in over 30 years.

I did Ski trips & some hiking there (when I lived in NSW way back).

I grew up in NSW (Syd).
