@frog I thought I might create it since people don't either celebrate Christmas or feel lonely or just need a space to hang out, even if that means online amongst friends. I had a quiet Christmas so I didn't mind starting this up. You are right with the week between Christmas and New Year being weird. It's like a non- week as such with nothing much happening except for Boxing Day sales and the cricket and no one really at work except for major industries like retail, hospitality and essential services. I also think Covid-19 has interrupted things big time as well with not as many things going ahead, and with the cluster situation up in the Sydney region. Even looking for housing is a joke around this part of the year with no one doing open for inspections because of the weird week.
Once again, I'm planning on doing some knitting- a blanket for myself that I'm in the process of slowly working on- and maybe some drawing of some sort in a creative manner. I'd like to also do some reading as well. Shopping for food is also on the agenda for dinner.
