hi @Glisten @Appleblossom @Sparky79 @avant-garde
bit ashamed but in the short term i still kind of need the therapist
after he apologised i did go back - although in my head it's kind of over
this has triggered a lot for me - like not trusting my own judgements

How long have you known him @EternalFlower ?
I am ambivalent at the moment about a decision re NDIS. It is not always easy, and sometimes better options are not always available.

You need to do what you need to do. Nobody really knows what is best for another.
I am adjusting to the NDIS changes. I have lost my Osteopath, who I had for over 20 years. I gave her a good recommendation so now my support worker goes to her, so maybe that is fair. I am happy with my physio, so she is helping manage my physical issues. I am not really complaining for myself, the main reason I am upset is the failures of the systems for my son, and other family members who have passed.
It is my support co-ordinator who I am doubtful about, who puts in little digs, and minimal effort. Then there are benefits to longevity in the relationship, and sometimes the devil we know, is better than the devil we don’t.

@EternalFlower Don't be ashamed, quite frankly it took a heap of courage to go back there, he should be grateful that you were willing to hear his apology. As you said, it's short term until you find someone more suitable. After my incident with my psych, I changed to a clinical psych (as recommended by my psychiatrist and union lawyers) and I haven't looked back.

@Glisten I texted him that I'm not coming back and he called me to apologise and we spoke for 50 minutes. He didn't charge for that and said if I needed a break he wouldn't charge for cancellation but I did indeed return, and paid for the session.
His prices are reasonable though.

Hi @Sparky79 it's short term as I need to gather my strength and have been super depressed lately and can't think who else to see.
That sounds like a good decision. Are u happy with your psychiatrist and clinical psychologist?

I wonder if he was going through this own sh*t @EternalFlower

@EternalFlower my clinical psychologist is amazing, I been given tasks and we are working on my triggers, where with my general psychologist it was pretty much just a venting session, which after 2 years showed no improvement. In regards to my psychiatrist I don't have one as yet, the one I saw was part of a workcover review, but I do have my first appointment with one at the end of July. Personally I'm not looking forward to it as I don't want any more meds.
